Good news for motor-racing enthusiasts as Negri Sembilan has decided to build a permanent race track soon.
The State Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Committee chairman Datuk Jalaluddin Alias said a suitable site had been identified in Jelebu.
“The four-hectare race track will become a tourist attraction.
“I hope it will synergise the extreme (motor-racing) sports in the state.
“Once the race track opens, it will also help the local residents to generate income, especially in the homestay sector,” he said.
Jalaluddin said a proposal had been made for the motocross race track in Kampung Baru Ayer Hitam in Jempol to be turned into a permanent race track as well. – September 26, 2015.
